A self-taught photographer and passionate traveler, Thibault Gerbaldi roams the world to capture visual stories infused with emotion and authenticity. His lens reflects both the intimacy of human experience and the vastness of global landscapes, uniting exploration and artistry.

His work has been honored in prestigious international competitions, including first place at the International Photography Awards 2025 and the International Travel Photo Awards, as well as second place at PX3 (Prix de la Photographie de Paris), the Monovision Awards, and the Fine Art Photography Awards. In 2024, he was named Rising Talent by Travel Photographer of the Year—the world’s most prestigious travel photography competition— and recognized as one of AAP’s Emerging Talents to Watch.

In 2025, three of his photographs were selected for Around the World with Leica, a landmark exhibition at Leica’s headquarters in Wetzlar celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary. Chosen from over one million submissions by more than 65,000 photographers worldwide, this honor placed his work at the very heart of Leica’s global centennial celebration.

His images have been featured in Leica Fotografie International, All About Photo, Digital Camera, and other specialized media. Much like Thibault himself, his photography travels the world—appearing in exhibitions and publications from Miami to Paris, Arles, Venice, Marrakech, Los Angeles, and Rome.

Beyond accolades, Thibault is deeply committed to humanitarian causes. Since 2019, he has served as a board member of The Forgotten International, donating a portion of his book and print sales to support solidarity projects aiding marginalized communities. His work demonstrates how art can simultaneously move audiences and empower change.
