Fine art and Architectural photographer and filmmaker Merging architectural precision with emotive storytelling

Ramin Barzegar is a Los Angeles-based photographer whose work blends the emotive power of light, form, and space to create visually compelling narratives. With a career spanning over four decades, his photography transcends traditional boundaries, drawing on modernist, postmodernist, and surrealist influences to craft images that resonate universally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Art, a foundation that continues to shape his architectural vision and artistic approach.

His passion for visual storytelling, particularly through architecture, nature, and the human experience, has earned him international recognition, including 69 prestigious awards such as the International Photography Awards (IPA), London Photography Awards, and 35Awards. His acclaimed series My Vision won Architecture Photographer of the Year at the IPA in 2022, showcasing Ramin’s ability to transform urban landscapes into evocative, surreal compositions that highlight the interplay of light, form, and human experience.

In 2025, his book Eternal Frames earned first place in the Book category at the IPA. The book spans five continents and 86 cities, celebrating architects and creators who design spaces that are not only beautiful but also safe, harmonious, and inspiring. Through this collection, Ramin invites viewers to see architecture as a living art form, capturing the spirit, creativity, and serenity embedded in each structure.

Through his photography, João Coelho seeks not only to portray lives but also to foster understanding, compassion, and respect, making his art a powerful reflection of the human condition.
